Volunteer at Red CentreNATS and be part of one of Australia’s most iconic automotive festivals in Alice Springs.

From city cruise and burnouts to drag racing and Show ’N’ Shine, volunteers help bring the event to life. You’ll join a supportive team, work alongside like-minded people and play an important role in creating a safe, memorable festival experience.

Key details

Before you apply, here are the essentials:

• Event experience is preferred, but not required.
• Volunteer shifts have a minimum duration of 4 hours.
• Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
• Volunteers aged 16–18 require parent or guardian consent.
• All volunteer roles are unpaid, but we do offer perks!
• Volunteers are expected to be positive, respectful and supportive of entrants and spectators.

Car club & vehicle entry

Volunteering comes with extra perks for car club members and entrants:

• We’ll make a donation to your car club if you’re a club member.
• If you’d like to enter your vehicle, you can receive free event entry when you complete the minimum 4-hour volunteer shift.

Volunteer benefits

As a Red CentreNATS volunteer, you’ll receive a range of benefits during the event:

• A volunteer pack including your uniform shirt and hat.
• Catering during your rostered shifts.
• A donation to your car club.
• An invitation to the VIP Welcome Function, including dinner and drinks.
• Your choice of free vehicle entry or a weekend access pass for one other person.
• 10% off Red CentreNATS merchandise purchased at the event.
• The chance to be recognised with the Officials Official award for going above and beyond, with winners receiving a trophy.
