ONE of Australia’s most iconic bands The Angels will rock n roll into town as part of the 2016 Red CentreNATS festivities. The Angels will headline the action-packed Friday program which will see the Official Red CentreNATS Street Parade rumble through the streets of Alice Springs before heading to Blatherskite Park. Four decades after they formed, the group show no signs of slowing down, performing sold-out shows around Australia and being invited to perform at some highly coveted international gigs. The band, which now features Dave Gleeson (Screaming Jets) on vocals, Nick Norton on drums, Sam Brewster on bass and John and Rick Brewster on guitars, celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2014 with the release of brand new album Talk The Talk. Rick Brewster put the band’s longevity down to one thing — the songs. “It’s the music; I think that’s what its all about and the reason we’ve been able to go out there with different line-ups over the years, very much including the latest one,” he said. The Red CentreNATS is over Sept 2-4. Visit redcentrenats.com.au for tickets.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
